Since 1999, Declan Buckley has been dedicated to designing landscapes and gardens in the UK and overseas. His practice, Buckley Design Associates, has worked on projects in urban, rural and coastal sites, from pocket–sized gardens to large-scale landscapes and public parks.

Declan asked us to look at his company’s website and branding. We wanted to allow the beautiful photography of Declan’s garden and landscape designs to remain the focus of the site and have some space to breathe. Simplicity and function ruled the day to deliver a website with simple clean aesthetics, and intuitive navigation to match. The emphasis was on function over form. The website needed to be accessible to everyone across all platforms and devices. Avoiding technologies that are not cross platform keeps the site open and easy for it’s multiple user types.
